Gateway MX6422 screen freeze

Question

Hello. I purchased a gateway laptop MX6422 and the screen freezes very often and I have to turn it off and on again. Then after a little bit it freezes again. Any suggestions as to what I could do to fix this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you and God bless!
