i got my lower cartilage done about 10 weeks ago with a stud (yeah i kno, shame on me) and i just recently got a 20 gauge Captive Bead Ring from hottopic and put it in. the 20 gauges aren't colorful looking and kinda small so i was wondering when i could try a 18 or 16 gauge CBR. Thanks in Advance!!

  1. i went from 18g to 16g and it just hurt a little cause your making the hole bigger and i won't go any bigger then 16g cause all my earrings are 16g and i got 10 in my ears.....

18g and 16g it  bigger then 20g... the more you go down the bigger they get and the higher you go the smaller they get.....

i will say this if you go from 20g to 18g or 16g its going to be sore for a while cause they aren't used to it and it going to be itchy cause that means they are healing...

my lobes was already 18g and so was my left cartilage and top ear... but my in both ears 2nd, 3rd and 4th wasn't gauged at all and i did and oh my it did hurt at little but it didn't hurt that bad.. just a little pinch!

my 18g's i want to change to 16g though....
