Kolkata Knight Riders suffered an embarrassing five-wicket defeat at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians in their final round-robin game of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
However, the skipper, Gautam Gambhir, has asked his teammates not to take defeat to heart as there are many positives that they can take away from the game.

to a formidable score.
The Knight Riders lost the game in an unlikely fashion at their own backyard, Eden Gardens.
Gambhir gave the ball to Laxmipathy Balaji who had 21 runs to defend in the last over. However, he went for 23 runs including four boundaries and a six on the last ball of the over.
Although, Gambhir expressed his disappointment over not being able to finish their round-robin campaign on a winning note, he urged his players to focus on the next game and take only positives into the knockouts.

said.
The skipper further defended the under-fire Balaji, who emerged as a villain for his side towards the end of the game. Expressing his full trust on the Indian pacer, Gambhir stated that he is confident that Balaji will come back hard in the next game.

KKR are currently sitting at the fourth spot in the points table and they are scheduled to meet Mumbai Indians once against in the elimination round on Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
