Gambhir, who stood in for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760, said that the conditions in Australia would be quite different from those in the subcontinent, adding that Aussies are always a tough
opposition at home.
"It always helps to get runs under your belt but in Australia those are different conditions,” said Gambhir while talking to the media reporters on Sunday after his side clinched a 4-1 series win against Windies. “We all know this is not what we're going
to get in Australia. Australians are tough nuts to crack and will come hard at us," he added further.
Gambhir has an unbeaten run as skipper as he has led India in six matches so far, winning all of them. The Delhi batsman gave credit of his perfect captaincy record to team’s performance.

Gambhir said that the series against Aussies in their backyard would be a test of mental toughness of players. He was hopeful senior players would not find it difficult to acclimatise to the conditions down-under.

The Men in Blue are scheduled to play two practice matches ahead of the Test series against Cricket Australia Chairman’s XI. Gambhir said that the tour games would help players in getting acclimatised with the playing conditions in Australia.
