Gautam Gambhir’s vision still blurred, fitness in question – Cricket News Update
Based on reports, Gautam Gambhir’s fitness still remains under question after it was recently learnt that the player’s inclusion in the upcoming fixture against English domestic side, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kent-c802, is doubtful due to Gambhir’s persistent issues with blurred vision.
The upcoming fixture comes as a tour match between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Canterbury-c775, on Friday, August 26, 2011.
As for the recent fixture against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sussex-c852, Gambhir was excluded from the bout, following doubts over the player’s fitness which the batsman developed following a head concussion during the fourth and final Test fixture against the English hosts at the Kennington

However, in a recent affair, Gambhir received clearance following an MRI scan after which it was reported that the Indian would be fit to participate in the upcoming 5 One Day International series against the English hosts.
For the matter, Indian team’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nandlal-Shivlal-Yadav-c78587 stated, “There is nothing in his MRI scan and he is fit to play the ODI series. However, he has been asked to take some rest and that will take care of everything.”
However, it is still believed that if the player achieves a potent recovery he still may be available for the upcoming fixtures as well as for the one-off Twenty20 game prior to the ODI matches.
As for now, Gambhir is suffering from issues regarding blurry vision and is finding it difficult to focus clearly.
