Gave birth two weeks ago and now have pain where I pee?? Help?

Question

Everytime I go to the bathroom sitting on the toilet makes me have pain where I pee from. Like its bruised or something but pretty bad.

I didn't have to get any stitches. My baby was born face up if that has anything to do with it.. but im just wondering if this is normal? Also what can I do about it and how long should it last?

i had something similar after giving birth.. but what helped me was cleaning the area with warm water .. it helped it heal..

and maybe it could be that your baby did rip you a bit which may be the reason it hurts when you pee.. dont worry youll be fine!

Call your doctor...could be a unirary tract infection. Or just part of healing... don't take any chances... call the doc

I had the SAME problem.  Basically make sure you aren't wiping.  Us the little squirt bottle they gave you, if they did, to squirt the area down and then LIGHTLY pat dry.  It's annoying, but if you keep doing this in about a week it will feel much better.  But don't wipe.  And don't wear tight underwear or pants.  It should get better soon.
