Gave my puppy his shots....making him sick?

Question

I bought a parvo-distemper shot at a local home and ranch store and gave it to my puppy as directed but I think it is giving him diarrhea! I am getting really tired of cleaning it up as I might be pregnant and am nauseous already haha. I am on day 3 of this disgusting behavior! Is it possible for this shot to make him sick like this? Also I was told that Ol' Roy puppy chow will make him sick but am not sure about the truth in this statement! Any advice is beyond appriciated! Thanks

Take him to the vet, its been 3 days and you still haven't taken him. Come on.

ol'roy is probably the worst food on the market. spend a little more money on your pet. wellness blue buffalo and eagle pack are good foods. but there are alot more also.the shot might have made him lethargic but it shouldnt make him sick for days. its probably the food. and also alot of puppies just have loose stools.

most puppies do have diahreah when they are real young. and yes, ol roy can do that too. i had a litter of puppies on that stuff and they had runny poo all the time. its best not to get dog food with corn as the main ingrediant.

This is why you NEVER give your own shots. Never, ever, ever. If you mess up, it could KILL your dog.

On top of that, the Ol' Roy could be making him sick seeing as you're feeding probably the WORST food on the market. Aviod Purina, Pedigree, Ol' Roy, Royal Cainin, Ceaser, Ol' Roy, Science Diet, and anything you can buy at the grocery store.

Switch to something like Canidae, Wellness, or Innova and STOP feeding Ol' Roy.

The shots shouldnt be giving him diarrhea. Its the puppy food. I would get him a higher quality puppy food. I would get him seen by a vet just to be safe.

I don't know how long the puppy has been with you and if you changed food abruptly when he was switched to Ol' Roy.  A change in food or water or even intestinal parasites can cause diarrhea in puppies.  Get him to the Vet.
