I think at the moment it would be a pretty close fight, i know that Rees isnt going to be a great champion and as you have said is probably a sitting duck for the first good Light Welter out there that wants a title but i have seen Rees fight a few times and he has got some decent punching power and they are the exact type of fighters that Warren is avoiding for Khan especially after Limond nearly put him away in what was supposed to be an easy fight for Amir. Khan needs to build on what he has already achieved and gain more experience if he does things correctly he could go on to be something really special, fighting Rees at this point in time would be a big risk that isnt worth taking. I dont see a fight between the two being made anyway as Frank Warren always has his way of making the most money he can out of every fighter and he wouldnt want to match two of his own fighters together as it would hurt his bank balance, thats why Calzaghe and Hatton didnt take all that many big risks in their early careers and i dont see Khan being any different than those two where Warren is concerned. Its always been about the earning potential for Warren and he isnt about to change any time soon.
