g*y agrees to $80million extension with Memphis

The Memphis Grizzles have tried to ward-off potential suitors for Rudy g*y by offering their power forward a big offer to stay with the franchise.

Sources close to the negotiations have said the deal is worth $80million over five-years and that g*y has already accepted the offer.

The Grizzlies have offered g*y the deal to keep the Minnesota Timberwolves and New Jersey Jets from g*y, who they drafted in 2006. The new contract will pay g*y more than $13million next year with raises of 10.5 per cent every year.

The current offer is $30million richer than the one Memphis offered g*y last year and g*y has now reportedly cancelled a visit to Minnesota.

g*y averaged 19.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.48 steals in just under 40 minutes last year.
