He's amazing. He's funny, loving, caring, and he really knows how to make me smile. We're alike in many ways, in that we like a lot of the same things, we can finish each other's sentences, and a lot of the time, we think the same things. We also have differences that balance out the similarities. I really love him, and I could never live without him.

Serious and dedicated to his work.  Just finished his second Masters and is going into the Peace Corps for two years.  I don't get to spend anywhere near enough time with him, but I don't really mind because his work is important.  I have known him since he was a kid.  (I'm a bit older than he is.)  He'll occasionally have a drink with me at a bar, but he doesn't like the way strangers come on to him because of his looks and build.  We travel together sometimes (We've been across Canada and to Iceland.)  But in the last two years he's been so busy our time together has been short.  Mostly we sit on my deck drinking beer and looking at the ocean.  He's one of the few people I can really talk with in this world.  He is only my third serious relationsihp and we have been together since '02.

He's my hero.  He's strong, opinionated, gentle, nurturing, has a wicked sense of humor, generous, friendly, s**y, and fun.

My ex was a p**n star <literally> but my current is the love of my life.

He is the perfect compliment to my personality.  I couldn't have picked better if the ultimate deity had come down, and placed him in front of me, and said, "this is the man I created for you."
