  1. So true! My dance teacher hates them! lol.

    She calls them "cheater shoes" or "fat girl" shoes..HARSH MUCH!!!

    They don't have a traditional shank and are really soft shoes, they also don't have to be broken in. They don't provide much support and they don't allow the dancer to improve her feet or make them stronger as the arch does not change.


  2. They don't require you to build up the strength in your feet, they do a lot of the work for you.

  3. I think it's because they don't last very long and they're "cheater shoes" my ballet teacher calls them.

My ballet teacher dislikes them. as 1.they do not allow you to go through your feet..and develop the much needed muscle and bone strength. they  practically through you up there on pointe. 2. the have a permament arch, therefore walking normally throughout ballets e.c.t looks like a ridiculous waddle. and 3. they arent very supportive on those average to higher arches.
