Arsenal’s board are looking to make funds available to Arsene Wenger, in order for the manager to go on and bring in new faces, in hopes for the poor displays from the Gunners squad to improve in the near future.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivan-c17215 Gazidis has insisted that Arsene Wenger will be given a transfer kitty with which to bring in new players in the winter transfer window.
The North London club went on to suffer a very humiliating defeat at the hands of Bradford City in the Capital One cup, and that loss seems to have finally urged to board to change its ways.
With some fans feeling furious with the way things have been going at the club, Gazidis and the board seem to have finally decided that the time to spend big was now or never.
He has gone on to insist that Wenger will be given the needed resources with which to bring in players who can help the team move forward.
When talking to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 Supporters Trust, in light of recent events, Gazidis is reported to have said: “I’m tired of saying the same message so won't do so, [but] last night wasn't good enough and made many of us angry.”
“The support was amazing and they deserved better, and it’s something we need to put right.”
“We are desperate to deliver that success and only by talking to those of us here will you understand that. I don't pretend we get everything right, but we really do try to.”
“We built our revenues, we built our reserves, [but] we need to do better at how we spend that money. We are a club that's under pressure.”
“The squad needs something. We've got money to spend, but does that mean that he's [potential targets] available. That's something else.”
The North London club are in desperate need of some proven experienced players, who have the right mentality to come into the club and start winning big with the team.
The time for the team to put its foot down and assert its authority is finally here and it is now a wait to see just how things carry out for the team from here on out.
