for the new gcse double award additional science course with aqa what are the grade boundries over all

the whole thing is out of 400 (ums marks) the total of

biology

chemistry

physic

ISA

written module exams

i want to know the grade boundires ....

in yr 10 it was 320 for a grade A, with mulitiple choice questions

however this time it was more harder beacuse it was written exam

so will the grade boundries remain same or be lowered

  1. i'm not sure whether this is what you're looking for, but i know that in some science papers the boundries vary every year because they look at the results of all pupils in britain doing that exact paper and then give (e.g.) the top 10% with the highest marks A*s...etc.

...so if it's done like that then there's no certain way of knowing before everything is counted

if what i've just said doesn't help, have a look on the aqa site here:

    http://www.aqa.org.uk/index.php

...that might be more useful and accurate

    hope i helped :)
