  1. a ship docked in harbour cannot face the storm, wel how is it possible when a person facing a problem, does he not come out of that after a while, its ur attitude and passion for the work which keeps you tied with it.

  2. Well,it seems like a good topic, but we are not sure what sort of help you need.  "Cannot weather the storm" might be a good choice of words.  If it is help with a homework topic, try reposting in Homework Help and you should get some responses.  You may want to add more details.  Best of luck.

  3. This refers to the fact that in a storm, a boat can weather a storm best if it is "bow into", or heading into, the wind, waves, and storm. The worst position for a boat to be in a storm is broadside to the waves, where it is most likely to take water over the side.

However, I have been a boater for 20 years, and during many storm, I can tell you that I would much rather had been in a harbour than at sea.

The saying may not be referring to a ship at all, the "ship" may be a metaphor for life; and storm may imply life's problems. You can't deal with life's problems unless you get out of the "harbour" and face them.

    Good luck.
