does anyone know the fastest gear ratio for a rear end

allso what kind of car of truck with what engin pushing it the weight of the car and the hourse it kicks out has a lot to do with what would be the fastest ratio for you

The higher the number, (like a 410:1 rear) would give you quicker acceleration but a lower top speed. A lower number (like a 343:1) would give slower acceleration but a higher top speed. So do you mean fastest or quickest?
