Which One Are You Going To Buy. And Yes, There Is A COD 5.

i don't know if i want world at war. it is not a infinity ward  game. it is a treyarc game. they dont tend to put effort in to it. look at cod2 great game still heavly played on both pc and xbox. cod3 only made for xbox not very many pple still play it. then take cod4 great game tons of pple playing on both xbox and pc. gears is a good game for partys and stuff get 8 pple and just have fun. but it is suposed to be a great game. so i think i will get gears first.

Get Gears it will be awesome, both online and campaign. CoD 5 might be good, but its not going to be made by the same people who made CoD 4 so it probably won't be better the Gears 2

Gears of War 2 is made by Epic, one of the foremost developers in the industry for First Person Shooters, and Third Person shooters. Gears of War is considered one of the best shooters of our time.

Although many people love Call of Duty 4 (and rightfully so), Call of Duty 5 is NOT being made by the same development team as CoD4 - Infinity Ward. Instead, Call of Duty 5 is being made by Tetryarch, which made Call of Duty 3, and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One (for Xbox/PS2, not the X360/PC Version).

Tetryarch has a tendency not to put out a product that's up to IW's standards, which brought us the Call of Duty 4 masterpiece.

Because of this, it's unlikely that Call of Duty 5: World at War is going to be nearly as impressive as Call of Duty 4, or Gears of War 2.

COD online will ony be better if the new developers adopt the system from COD 4.  The online play of COD4 was better than the original GOW, but that is not necessarily true for the sequels.

I would go for gears of war.  There is a pattern developing where Infinity Ward makes much better COD games than Treyarch.

get gears of war cod 5 wont even be made by the people who made cod 4 and cod2 which were awesome. so get gears of war 2 because it is going to be better then the original and the original was incredible

Get them both. Gears of War Two will probably be better. Call of Duty 6 will be AMAZING for sure.
