  1. As long as they have a water dish they can take care of themselves :)

  2. Feed your Leopard Geckos every two to three days. Hatchling Leopard Geckos will eat small sized crickets. Juveniles will eat medium sized crickets and wax worms. Adults will eat large crickets, wax worms, king mealworms and pinkie mice. Regular mealworms are not recommended since their hard outer skin can be hard to digest and, if ingested alive, can do great internal damage. Dust crickets lightly with Zoo Med REPTIVITE® vitamins and a powdered calcium supplement every other feeding. Provide a small, shallow water bowl with fresh water. Hatchling Leopard Geckos should be lightly misted twice weekly to assist them in shedding their skin. They will also enjoy the bath!

  3. just put a bowl of water in his cage.  He will take his own bath.

  4. My daughter has a gekho and she never baths it. I don't think you need to. It sheds it's skin every now and then too. They have to be kept warm so bathing it might cool it down too much.

  5. I have found through experience that geckos hate baths!

Misting them every other day or so will be just fine

Geckos are actually very clean on their own

  6. geckos are very clean reptiles often going to one corner to go to the bathroom. I have found that you may offer a shallow bathing dish with fresh water or a moist hide that you can make on your own see directions below(the hide box will aid in shedding) but other than that geckos enjoy a mist now and then much like the answerer above me!

Moist Hide Box Directions-This hide can be used to aid in shedding!

    Needed:

1)Small Square or round Tupperware Container with plastic lid big enough for gecko to fit in.

2)Someting that can cut a whole in the lid of the tupperware container big enough for the gecko to get access to the hide

3)Soemthing to file down the sharp edges of the hole

    4)Moist,NOT SOAKING WET!, spagnum moss

Take the tupperware cover and cut a hole that is large enough for the gecko to get access to into the hide then file down the edges of the hole to prevent injury. Place a small but decent amount of moist spagnum moss in the tupperware container. Replace the lid and your all done!

  7. geckos dont need baths somtimes your gecko will walk through the water dish thats good enough
