But how come no channel showed the game live?

I thought main event on foxtel would have?

Delayed telecast.  Prime should NEVER have another television rights contract.  Disgusting!

As for next week, I don't think my Cats can play that poorly again.  Certainly if they do, they won't do it and win!  There will be some serious precision work at Kardinia this week I'd reckon.  Bit of tackling practice too I'd reckon!

main event on foxtel ch 518 only show the games live in sydney-canberra- and brisbane only

The game was shown live. If you're from Victoria anyway. Live on channel 7, they said it would only be live if the MCG sold out, which it did.

It was a heck of a game.  It's funny that we could watch the game live in the US (Setanta Sports), but no one in Australia could, except the 10% of the national population (ha ha) that was at the MCG.

As a Collingwood supporter, I must say congratulations to Geelong. It was a great game and yes, it does suck that it was not on tv live. Good luck to Geelong if Port Adelaide get in.
