Gel Nails.........???

Question

So, I was thinking of getting gel nails before school or a manicure. Are gel nails worth it and can you get any design on them that you want? Also, do they s***w up your nails when you get them taken off ( the right way). Do you guys have any recommendations as to whether I should just get a manicure or gel nails?

They look really great for a while, but no matter how you remove them (even in the salon) they will s***w up your nails.  I would prefer a manicure because your nails will be healthier and it doesn't hurt that it's cheaper!

i wouldn't get anything like acryllics because they can ruin your nails after there off, and if some fall off it will look retarded. get them painted.

Gel Nails make your nails thinned out that is why lots of people get them refilled...I have gotten a manicure before and it was worth the money!
