Gel caps, do they contain pork?

Someone told my husband that pork is used to make gel capsules...is this true?????

Gel caps contain gelatin, which is made from the bones and tendons of animals.  I guess WHICH animals depends on the company.  So, maybe the particular ones you take contain pork, maybe not, but they DO contain SOME type of animal product.  BTW, Midol has shellac in it!
