Gemstone for Aries????????????????

Question

i am born on april 18th.i am wearing emerald for the past 2 years.i have no idea regarding gemstones.i am wearing it because my mother had brought it for me.the past 4 years things were not in place with me.everything is disappointment.but i never lost my composure.just now i come to knew that emerald is not for aries.what should i do now,shall i remove it immediately.if so,what gem stone should i use now.recently i come to know that the weight of the stone should also be considered before having one.what's the weight of the stone i should wear now.

There are all kinds of gemstones, some for the month, some for the sign, some for the ruler of the sign!  It's hard to know what's what.  To narrow it down for you:

1) The RULER of your sign (Aries), is what "vibrates".  This ruler will vibrate to a certain stone and give you good luck.  The ruler of Aries is Mars.  Mars likes red stones that are solid, like red coral, carnelian, orange jasper.  (red coral is extremely expensive, and if it's not, it's dyed, and that won't work).

2) The stones by month and sign are made up and only for marketing purposes and "adornment".

3) Lastly, ALWAYS go with your gut feeling when choosing and wearing a stone.  Don't let others tell you what to wear, go with WHAT FEELS RIGHT.

don't know if the ring has anything to do with your resent bad luck

If you are born in april your gem is diamond. the gemstone is not decided by the sign but the month you're born.

Diamond is the gemstone.  I too am an Aries. Bday is on the 8th. Sinc e your mother bought you the emerald I would still wear it. It is special since it is from your mother and I doubt anything that has been disappointing to you has been caused by wearing the emerald.

For an Aries it is aquamarine and bloodstone...and lucky us, also the prettiest of them all, the diamond!!

the gemstone for the month of april is diamond. So remove it and keep it with your other jewelery, and wear a diamond.

Hello Aries,  I too am an Aries.  I will attempt to help you with the limited knowledge and experience I have (64 years of it).

One should not confuse the proverbial "Birthstone" with the stone or your astrological sign, eg. Aries.  Admittedly, the Birthstone and the Astrological Stone are sometimes the same, but not always.

Aries has Mars as its planet, which really effects the stones that an Aries should wear.

My personal advice is that if you feel that a stone is not making you feel well, than you should take it off.  Wait a couple of days and then put it on again.  If you feel the same way, than that stone may not be for you.  Avoid it.  Save it. Cherish it (as a gift from a loved one), but avoid wearing it.  It will gain value anyway, and be worth more some day.  You could give it to a child, or a grand child, some day.

Now, about your "Aries Stone(s)".

Traditionally, the Stone of Aries has always been the "Blood Stone".  That is not a red stone, but a Green stone (heliotrope) with red lines and dots (ergo: blood).  NOT hematite, which is also (can be) called bloodstone, because of the red Streak it has.

Then, there are stones according to Hindu legend, Old Spanish and Arab traditions, etc.

One of the most popular, of the above, is Quartz (Ref: Old Spanish List).  Also called "Crystal", "Rhinestone", the so called "Herkimer Diamond", etc.  Many historical Aries wore Quartz.

Quartz crystals are plentiful.  Check it out, if it makes you feel good, then wear it!
