I saw someone here on Yahoo Answers do a survey on gender and politics but it was posted up about a year ago. I would like to do the survey again with additional questions.

1. Do you vote?

2. If no, then why not?

3. Does gender make a difference in your vote?

4. Should there be more women in politics?

5. Would you trust a woman to hold office?

6. What do you believe is the difference between a woman and a man in politics?

    5. Yes

  2. Yes, I vote.

No, gender does not make a difference when I vote.

Yes, there should be more women in politics, but only if they are qualified, not just because they are women.

Yes I would trust a woman to hold office. Until last year we had a woman governor here in Louisiana, and I feel that she was very qualified, and did a great job.

I don't think that there is much difference if the woman is qualified, but society tends to look at a woman different than they would a man who is in office.

  3. 1. Yes,.  I have voted since I was of age.  3. Gender hasn't been an issue 'til this year.  4. Yes there should be more women recognized in politics that are already working behind the scenes.  5. It would depend on what office the female officiated.  Honesty and emotions.  The problem is it doesn't matter what gender you are in politics, especially as President, because you don't rule--all the governing Representatives (Congress--Senate--Supreme Court Judges) who have  been on the job forever-- unless they recently were caught spending too much money on prostitutes.

But I still vote.  There are quite a few laws on the ballet that needs our votes.
