  1. I think we will never stop being aggressive,

but I think if alcohol was banned it would tone down a lot of the aggression and violence that occurs.

  2. . That Can't be done!

Human animals are naturally aggressive. That's how we conquored the world.

  3. Men have more testosterone, which means they feel aggresive impulses more often, but I think that both men and women are capable of the same kind of aggressive behavior.  For instance, both backstabbing/duplicity and physical violence are common in both sexes.  For a long time, it was considered "more ok" for men to be physically violence, but now that trend is reversing and there has been a huge increase in female-on-female physical violence across the nation, especially in the younger generation of students.

It is human nature to want the things we desire, whether it be the attention from another person or an object.  However, it is also human nature to be able to keep our animal side in check with reason.  However, I think society (especially Western culture) teaches people that our self-worth comes from what we possess (who has the hottest mate, or coolest belongings, most money) which makes people more aggressive because they feel their self-worth is at stake if they can't get what they want.

If we stressed human emotions such as empathy and benevolence more, people might feel more satisfied with themselves for being caring and loving.

  4. I agree that aggression is part of human nature... I don't think alcohol alone would make a difference, a lot of people drink to calm down not to fight... it effects people different... In my few negative aggression could be reduced by people being more religious or meditation, taking part in calming exercises and praying.
