I am an american and would like find some help on tracing my heritage to France. I have a couple of leads but need some help finding the best websites to connect me to people who know more about these things. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You. Merci.

do you know where in France you need to search because departments have archieves in the net sometimes so you can eaisly search. but maybe I can help you... you can ask me and we will see if I can do something (for example asking birth, wedding and death certificate here in France in the good townhall or archieves...).
