  1. The BMD indice are set out in alphabetical order, they began in July 1st 1937, if you use www.ancestry.co.uk  their indice are up to 31st  December 2005. There isn't any specific BMD details for Northampton,  unless the family history society for Northampton have the parish registers transcribed. I have the Nottinghamshire parish registers on CD from the FHS.

I have membership of ancestry.co.uk / .com world collection if you need some help or just someone to find the information for you I am quite happy to do it for you.

Just remember if it's information about a live person you need you will have to email me through my profile because of the DPA.

  2. Below is the answer I gave to an earlier Question, but if you are searching pre early 1900s then

    http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/   should help you.

Unfortunately there are no free sites for birth, marriage or death records after about 1910-15. You can find the nearest location to your home, where you can access the bmd registers free, by using these links.

The bmd.s can also be searched free at many LDS Family History Centres. You do not have to be a member, you can find the nearest one to you with this link.
