  1. Do you have ancestry software? It will tell you the relationship

My mind is  not working too well to night, I would say 1st cousin once removed to your first question

    2nd ? yes

The removed means the relatives/ancesters in between

  2. This is a link to the State Library of North Carolina's Cousin's Chart.  It will show you all the strange and complicated relationships among cousins.

  3. 1. your grandmother's cousin would be your third cousin

    2. i think you are right

    3. absolutely no idea...i think it has something to do with a divorce somewhere.

  4. 1. your grandmother's cousin is your cousin twice removed

    2.  Your mom's cousin's daughter is your second cousin

(your grandmother's cousin's granddaughter would be your third cousin)

    3. A second cousin twice removed would be your grandparent's second cousin.

Along a similar line, your mother's cousin is your cousin once removed.  That just means that you are cousins, but one generation apart.

  5. Go to the Public Library and ask the professional genealogist to help you.  They are they to assist with family tree information.

  6. You might find this chart really helpful.

  7. 1) Full cousin twice removed. You probably mean "First Cousin". Call her Amelia. She is your grandmother's first cousin, your father's first cousin ONCE removed, your first cousin TWICE removed, and, when you have a child and name it after me out of gratitude, little Teddy's first cousin THREE times removed.

    2) Yes, if your mom's cousin is a second cousin. If she is a first cousin, the child is your second cousin. You add one to the first, second and third, which we call "Degree".

Children of 1st cousins are 2nd cousins to each other.

Children of 2nd cousins are 3rd cousins to each other.

Children of 3rd cousins are 4th cousins to each other

It goes on. I know a man who is 7th cousin to Tom Cruise. Unless the person is WAY famous, no one keeps track beyond second cousin.

Her child will be your second (or third) cousin once removed.

    3) When they say twice removed they mean cousins (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 12th . . .) of your grandparents. Once removed are cousins of your parents. When you are a geezer like me and your 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousins have children and grandchildren, you will be 1st, 2nd or 3rd cousin once removed to the children, and twice removed to the grandchildren.

I know a whole family who are first cousins 7 times removed to John Adams, the president.
