Genealogy.. i need help.?

Question

i live in lethbridge, alberta, canada. i am looking for anything on my grandfather who was born in calgary, alberta. in june, 23,1922 he was a door stop baby. they named him "william allan brook stewart."... then it gets funner after that. the only thing i have on his dad. is his name. william stewart born in scottland.. lol..

when my grandfather was alive. i tryed to ask him a few questions. but did not get far.. my grandfather was so mad that i was looking in to the past. dont know why. took me about 30-45 mins. to get his dads name. my dad told me to wait for his dealth. now that he past away in 2001. i am trying to look in to this now.

i am just starting out at this. i dont know where to look. i dont have much money to put to this. but i want to look back at the family. i have been about 100 sites. all the ones i hit. wanted me to pay for me to look at the info. i am hoping for some sites the i can search for free.

any help anyone can give. i thank you very much

Hi, it's very difficult with 2 "William Stewarts" - - which is a fairly common name.

You might also consider a free 2-week trial at Ancestry.com, they have added a lot of Canadian records over the past year...  I've tried searching for you, and came up with so many William Stewart names I can't tell if they are the right people you're looking for.  I did find one that piqued my interest, perhaps you'll recognize something here:
