In Genesis it say "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth,” (Gen. 1:26, NASB). How come he refers to himself as us in saying lets make man in our image. Who are "them"?

  1. He is referring to Trinity...the Holy Spirit...and Jesus.

  2. the father- God, the son- Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. the trinity.

  3. As far as the book goes he probably referring to us as himself and helpers(or whatever) and us are the people. It is a book and I am sorry to offend anyone, but that is my belief.

  4. He's referring to the persons in God.

    God The Father, The Son, And The Holy Spirit.

    The Trinity.
