Geneology anyone? also need some help?

okay so my dad lives in ireland and ive never met him so if someone could help me or if anyone knows. about free genealogy websites that would be greatt

Since your dad is living, he is not going to be on any genealogy sites.  Genealogy sites do not list living people, and it is rare to find anyone who lived more recent than about 100 years ago.

There may be some people finder websites for the living, but I am not familiar with those as I don't search the living.  But other people are familiar with them and I am sure they will respond and list those.

Ancestry.com I Think or PeopleFinder.com or something : )

Do you know his full name?  What county or town he is from or living in currently?  Unless your dad has a very unique name it will be hard to find him in an entire country by searching just his name.  If you know where he lives you can find directories and look him up.
