  2. Any and everything.  Electronics, clothes, steel, lumbar, grain.....  With the exception of oil and gas and autos, you can pretty much transport anyhting on a general cargo ship.

    Bulk Carriers carry buk cargoes in bulk - Grain, Coal, Iron Ore, Fertilizers, Ores, etc

    Container Ships carry - yup, you got it! Containers (boxes)

    General Cargo ships are like multipurpise ships, they carry pallets, super sacks, trains, steel products, tractors, many things.  When you see a general cargo ship they typically have cranes, or masts & booms to move the cargo with.  Some folks have said they look like an upside down cockroach.  Good luck!
