General Douglas MacArthur: When did he come to Detroit?

I'm having a hard time finding this answer on the net. My father thinks it was May 1952, but I can't seem to find any history facts to comfirm it. Can anyone help me? I also need the website as to where you found it. Thanks

Try the public library, they may have that information in the history, or biographic sections.

I believe your dad is correct however, it was on his farewell tour after President Truman fired him.
