How would someone become a nurse consultant?

I firstly know you have to complete the BSC hons in nursing, but once you have completed that what would you need to do then?

Post qualifying? extra degrees? how long would they take?

DO NOT ANSWER IF YOUR GONNA SAY ' AGES' OR 'YEARS years etc'

I need proper answers!

Thanks

  1. What kind of consultant do you want to be, do you want to work in legal, insurance, or the hospital?

You will at least need your BSN in nursing, and then without any prior experience you will need a masters in nursing and possibly in the field you would like to work in, Some masters degrees would tie that all into one.

So if you aren't a RN now you are looking at at least 7years of schooling.

    GOOD LUCK!
