General chemistry: how do u know which molecules have stronger/weaker intermolecular forces?

i know that h20 hydrogen bonding is the strongest. then theres other forces like vandarwaals, etc. how do i know which is the strongest when i look at it? for example: ch4? Nh3? XeFO2 ???? how can u tell?
