  1. if you havent played for a while dont over complicate your swing.

just keep your head down, keep that left arm straight(if your right handed) and dont try and absolutely crush the ball every time.

swing nice and easy and you should do fine.

  2. Are you left or right handed? What problems were you having?

  3. take a video of your swing and look at it to see what your doing wrong. a pga pro would not be bad either.

  4. Try having a slow takeaway and watch the golf ball as you hit it.

    Have a good one...

  5. make sure the balls you are hitting are small white ones on the ground

dont copy the great and mighty war lord G.Bushs swing whatever you do

  6. Your body may have changed in a few of years...the swing that you had back then, may have also changed.

No worries...Your getting the cobwebs out of your swing, and at the same time, your introducing things that may have not been there before, due to changes in the mind, body and equipment conditions.

Banging away a bucket of balls is not going to do you any good...

Reduce the desire of distance for the quality of the shot at hand.  You will retain your distance back later.  Go for the quality of the shots, and find your new swing and meet your new companion within you on the course.
