Generally, how long before you can walk on a newly tiled ceramic tiled floor--base concrete--thanks?

  1. It depends if you used 'rapid set' adhesive.  If you did it should only be a couple of hours, maybe less if it is warm.  If you used ordinary adhesive (not rapid set) it can be up to 24 hours Im afraid.  Have a look on your adhesive tub, it will tell you if it is rapid set or not.

  2. There's no hard and fast rule, it depends on the adhesive used. Normally 24/48hrs but most dry out over a period of a couple of days. If  the amount of foot traffic is allot then leave it as long as possible as they may seem set but can and do move under heavy foot traffic. All adhesives should state the drying times on the tub, whatever it states i usually leave it another day or so just to be sure.

  3. it is possible to walk on the floor after 24 hours.
