I live in the mid-west and I raise beef for other people. Since beef prices are soaring with corn prices, I want to know how much you pay (whereever your location is) for one quarter of a beef steer/heifer. (I say steer or heifer becuase that is more appropriate then "cow", but for some it might be "cow", just to let you know that is a beef "cow" we eat, thats what I am trying to say) Right now I am at $490.60 for one quarter. That includes processing fee. How about half or a whole beef steer/heifer?...Thanks.
