  1. By rounds do you mean steps?  If so, the process is normally pretty much the same from one airline to another.  It all begins with an application.  Some airlines still ask you to fill out an application and mail it in where it is reviewed.  Other airlines (many in the USA) have gone to a phone-in system that acts as an initial screening.  In either event airlines are looking for some basic information.  Things like are you eligible and qualified for the position (age, citizenship) your experience, education, language abilities, height/weight ratio, etc. This is a pretty simple yes or no.  If yes, then you'll probably be contacted to attend an "open call."  If the airline is actively recruiting then it's possible they will be conducting initial interviews in a city near you.  If not, you could be flown to corporate headquarters (or wherever the recruiting is conducted).  Initial interviews/open calls usually have large numbers of applicants attending.  Typically they'll begin with a presentation by a recruiter about the company, the job responsibilities, pay and benefits, and some general ideas about the way the day will be conducted.  At some point you'll be broken into smaller groups to meet with an interviewer.  This could be anywhere from 5 to 20 applicants to one or two interviewers.  If you're successful through this process you'll normally be invited to attend a 1 on 1 interview.  This could be the same day or at a later date.  If that is successful you might be asked to submit to and pass a medical exam.  If that is also successfull then you'll be issued an invitation to attend flight attendant training.
