Genesis, Circo Massimo 14th July?

anyone thinking of going / is going to the Genesis concert in the circo massimo in rome? I'm going to rome for a few days with my parents. We tried to get tickets for the show in Manchester but they were completley overpriced, so my dad decided it was more woth while going to rome for a few days and seeing genesis for free!I don't really know thier music much but a few days in Rome... I'm not complaining! anyone else seeing genesis in Rome or anywhere else? I'm curious to as weather they are actually that popular in Italy that they will fill a 400,000 capacity stadium?! grazie =]

Absolutely! The Genesis are a much loved group here in Italy. In fact, they became more popular and well known in Italy before they did in England. They will definitely attract that kind of crowd!

Just to give you a comparison, when Elton John did his concert at the Colosseum in the summer of 2005, 300,000 people attended, and Simon and Garfunkel's "Old Friends" concert in the summer of 2004 attracted a crowd of 600,000! I was at both, yeah!!
