  1. Your genetic code just refers to the order of your DNA. It is found in ALL of your cells in an organelle called the nucleus

  2. um everywhere!

  3. Genetic code is just another name for DNA.

DNA is found in every cell of your body.

If DNA was not in every cell in your body, your body would no longer function.

That's why DNA is so valuable to police. One particle of hair or skin can give them individual DNA.

  4. The Genetic code isn't really a physical thing inside your body, it's a code (just like it's name implies), whereby triplet arrangements of DNA bases (called codons) specify a designation for a single specific amino acid.

The process in which the information in DNA is converted into RNA is called transcription and occurs in the nucleus (animal and plants cells)

The process in which the information in RNA is converted into amino acids (and therefore proteins) is called translation and occurs in the cytoplasm (plant and animal cells).
