  1. Fruit!

  2. My friend and i had a large argument about this. People say its a vegetable because it is eaten with vegetables. others say it is a fruit because it has seeds. well just so everyone knows, in the guinness book of world records a pumpkin won largest fruit, so it doesnt have to taste good on ice cream like that one person said. then me and my friend googled it, it turns out that it is a fruit.

  3. VEGETABLE! i hate when people say it is a fruit. fruits taste good in ice cream, does a tomatoe? NO!!!

  7. its a fruit =D fruits have seeds in them, vegetables dont!

  8. It's a fruit.

Technically, any foodstuff that is formed from the fertilization of a flower (and has seeds) is a fruit.  That would include all sorts of "vegetables" such as squashes, eggplants, peppers, beans, etc.  Anything else would be considered a vegetable, such as greens, root crops, etc.

From a practical perspective, however, foodstuffs that are high acid and sweet are considered to be fruits and anything else is a vegetable.

  9. a tomato is a fruit
