Genetically Modified Organisms?

Question

I need to do a research paper about genetically modified organisms, but I have no ideas of what to do it on that actually interests me. I want something creative... do any of you know anything about GMO's? Are you for them or against them? Any response of anything you know about this topic will be helpful! Thank you!!

it is not only creating new creatures,it can be improving them.consider a bacteria that can produce anti-biotic we have not made a brand new creature but we have improve it in our desired way.making big changes in more developed creatures,mammals for instance,is a pretty hard work because a mammal system is so complicated and the and the whole system is so delicate that even one small change can destroy the whole.

playing god is not possible it seems as if humans can never create even the simplest creatures from basic ingredient. seems as "I change as I like" is a part of being  a human.

i'm for, so long as the procedure is carried out to find a cure for human genetic diseases.

Great care has to be taken when carrying out genetic modification and i believe there is a lot of red tape to go through if one really wants to carry it out.

However, as u are doing a research paper...i think you'll need a more refreshing idea than fluorescent animals ><

You could talk about GM crops that are designed to be pest resistent. These crops protect the environment because the farmers don't have to spray pesticides. Pesticides are harmful to the soil and many animals.

I am for GMOs.
