  1. this is possible, it depends on the genetic make up of the DNA ,  as with any child , my nephew on my sisters side looks like my son and they are both also the spitting image of our grandfather,

  2. Genetics and genealogy are not the same thing.  To get better answer, go to the home board of Yahoo Answers and select Science and Mathematics on the left side then the sub category Biology.

In genealogy, people trace their ancestry with documentation.

  3. They would be just like brothers or sisters, as far as I see, except that they're actually cousins (twice over, but this is even more extreme cause they're both twins).  Genetically, they would seem like siblings.

If the parents were the same, they produce various children who only share part of their DNA with each other.  Two siblings average 50% the same DNA.  It can vary, so sometimes it can be 70% or 30% (or more extreme).  The twin scenario would produce the same chances.

  4. Chances are they will not look like each other.  Even though the parents are identical twins, the chances that they will produce identical children is slim to none.  This is because there are many different ways that a persons DNA can be arranged.  It is, however, possible for them to look similar in the same way that siblings look similar to each other.

  5. The children of two sets of identical twins would not look the same as the chromosomes in the haploid gametes would have been separated and combine with a haploid set from the other parent. The alleles in each gene are separated randomly, giving a new unique individual.

Certain characteristics will be the same but nature minimises cloning in male female reproductive systems to encourage variation and development.

If identical twins were formed from the new zygote those children would look the same as each other.
