Genevieve - what do you think?

Question

I wanted to thank you all here for giving your input the past few weeks as I searched for the perfect baby name. I had my baby on 8/28 (1 week late, I was induced) and it was a girl! So now we have one boy Hunter Garrard (last name has soft G, sounds like ja-rard) who is almost 15 months old, and a baby girl who is Genevieve Garrard. Their full names are Hunter Kendall Forest Garrard and Genevieve Gracelyn Sky Garrard, the middle names are special names to my husband and me, so flow was not my primary concern for the middle names. So, thank you again for everyone who helped us decide. What do you think of our final choice, Genevieve Garrard?

I think Genevieve is a lovely name, I especially like it with the nn Evie, unfortunanly for me I can't use it because its my fiance's ex's name (she goes by Gen though) I love the name Sky too but spelt Skye (its my daughter's name)

I was hoping that you would come back and tell us what happened.

Genevieve is on my top 5 list of favourite names. So of course I think you made a beautiful choice.  I'm afraid that I'm not as keen on Gracelyn Sky, but it DOES have a very pleasant ring to it. I also like how Hunter has Forest and Genevieve has Sky. Besides, my daughter's middle name doesn't flow well with her first name, but it has special meaning to us.  To me, that's what middle names are for!

Absolutely adorable! Very classy and sophisticated for when she is older but can also be cute as Genny for a kid!

I love this name, when I was younger I was nameing my daughter Genevieve Godiva, a very strong name but we would pronounce it the french way (John-Vee-Ev) ...Didnt happen that way, I now have a Caydence Taylor Marie lol so I am jelous that you got to chose that beautiful name...

P.S. you could call her G.G. (GeeGee) as a nickname, which I think is kind of cute.
