Genoa CFC want http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yuto-Nagatomo-c37726 – Serie A Update
Genoa CFC President, Enrico Preziosi, has revealed the club’s intentions to bring back striker Diego Milito to Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The Argentine left the Rossoblu in 2009 to join http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan. Milito’s former employers now want the goal-poacher back at
the club.
The exit to Inter was very good for the Argentinean hitman, where he won a Treble in his debut season for the Nerazzurri. Milito has been in ballistic form wearing the black and blue jersey and scored 30 goals in 55 appearances for the club in the 2009/10
season. The ongoing term, though, has been disappointing for the forward as niggling injuries have over shadowed his performances.
Milito, now 31 years old, is at the twilight of his career and Genoa would be more than happy to have the striker back in the squad. However, Diego Milito’s contract at Inter runs until the summer of 2014, which will make his acquisition difficult for the
Griffin.
The Rossoblu president was recently interviewed and asked about the possibility of Milito returning to the outfit. Preziosi said:
“I would like that a lot. However, this idea has never been put forward to Inter and Diego has a long contract with Moratti.”
On the other hand, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan have revealed that they will be signing Yuto Nagatomo permanently at the end of the season. The fullback came to San Siro on a loan transfer deal from AC Cesena. Inter reserve the right
to make the move permanent at the end of the ongoing 2010/11 season.
The 24-year-old Japanese footballer has been in impressive form following his arrival at San Siro during the winter transfer window, winning over the Nerazzurri hierarchy in the process. The transfer is reckoned to cost Inter around 4-million Euros – a bargain
price for a quality player
Nagatomo will play for Inter against Cesena this weekend at Stadio http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dino-c11319 Manuzzi. Commenting on the upcoming game against his parent club, the defender said:
“It will be more than a special game for me. I want to show all my improvements and I don't want to lose.”
