Genoa (Italy)?

Can anyone tell me if the cruise terminals in Genoa are within walking distance to the town centre and what would you suggest I do/ see if I'm only there for 1 day?

  1. Actually there is a metro station right in front of the Cruise Terminal (the metro is not very long, but it brings you quickly to the center, which starts already within 10 minutes walking). It is absolutely worth to see the center of Genoa. If you like a glimps at the town have a look at the collections of video's on the town that you can find on belows link - the site I'm proposing has many links to the good places of the town.

    The town has very old parts built in the 11th century. Many museums and churches which are worth to be visited. Take a virtual tour and enjoy it !

    There are also links to good restaurants where you can enjoy typical food.


  2. Yes. There is plenty to see and do in Genoa easily accessable from the ports.
