The agent of Inter Milan goalkeeper, Emiliano Viviano, has revealed that Italian outfit, Genoa, are interested in signing his client in the summer transfer window.
Viviano only recently re-joined Inter due to an administrative error from Bologna director, Stefano Pedrelli, who placed a wrong valuation in the player’s contract. Inter exploited the loophole and completed 100% purchase of the Italian international last week.
Viviano had attracted interest from several Italian clubs and it is highly expected that he will move to another team when the transfer window re-opens. However, it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri are prepared to let him leave the club on-loan or permanently.
The player’s agent confirmed that Genoa want to discuss a deal but his client is unsure over a move and will hold meeting with the Inter officials next week. However, the agent, Claudio Vigorelli, did not rule out a move for his client and added fuel to the talks by admitting that the Italian likes Genoa.
Talking to the reporters the agent said, “There is interest from Genoa and they are ready to negotiate, but it’s premature to say he will certainly move there. We must wait and see what happens in the next few hours. The lad likes Genoa, as he considers it an important club where he can play consistently.”
The 25-year-old is steadily developing as one of the top goalkeepers in the country and has been tipped as an ideal replacement for the Italian legend, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Julio-Cesar-c19961, and would relish regular taste of first-team football to continue his development.
Reports in the media recently have linked the player to Genoa in a swap deal, which could see the Rossoblu striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rodrigo-c31437 Palacio, going the other way. New Inter Milan manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, is believed to be a huge admirer of the striker and has reportedly demanded him at the San Siro.
