Enrico Preziosi the leader of Genoa said that the January transfer window will be a prime focus for the club and they will look to make some good deals
The Rossoblu recently lost a home fixture against Chievo and that is just more bad news for them this season. The side has put out forgettable performances since the start of the season. This has put them at a disappointing 17th
position in the table tally.
“We have to act on the transfer market,” Preziosi stated on Monday. “We already have some quite precise ideas.”
The side, although down in a rut are capable of some good football, but at the moment are unable to deliver. They need to make some changes to the outfit to ensure a solid foundation for the team.
“We are currently unable to win fundamental games and that is why we are here discussing these things," said the chief.
They have been seen lately as the team who gets scored against and never seem to get out of the deficit. The Liguarians need to have players with a strong presence on the field in case they fall behind they can quickly recuperate
and get back in to the game.
“We are lacking quality and personality because the team becomes demoralised after conceding a goal," observed the marshal.
The team current position on the leaderboard is a reason to worry for the management as well as the players. This constant pressure just adds to the anxiety of upcoming matches. This is a very dangerous combination, so the team
is focusing to get out of the relegation spot and then look towards more positive football because until then they will always be buried under this massive load.
“Now I’m hoping that we pick up a few points over the next few games. With five or six more points we can become a lot more calmer.” said Preziosi.
Luigi Delneri’s side has to face Pescara, Torino, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 and Bologna before the end of the first chapter of the Serie A season. They will of course be on their toes the whole time since all these teams are formidable opponents.
