Genoa’s Houssine Kharja ready to replace Inter Milan’s Sulley Muntari
Inter Milan have confirmed their interest in signing Genoa’s Houssine Kharja to replace Sulley Muntari. If media reports from the blue and black part of San Siro are to be believed, football officials have revealed that Kharja
will soon be inking a deal with the club. The Moroccan international has shown great form over time, attracting a lot of attention.
The attacking midfielder is a hot requirement for Nerazzurri, as they plan to make a comeback this season, having barely made it into the next stage of the Champions League and being ousted by novices in Serie A.
Their fierce rivals AC Milan, who occupy the red and black part of San Siro, are leading the Italian rankings table at the moment, despite the treble Inter Milan won just last season.
Under the management of Jose Mourinho, Inter Milan won a treble that included the league title and Champions League. However, he joined football giants, Real Madrid, leaving San Siro in the hands of Liverpool’s sacked manager,
Rafael Benitez.
The Spaniard failed in delivering; hence, Leonardo was called in to put the club back on track. The latter has been up to measure thus far. In fact, Nerazzurri are yet to be defeated under his management.
Most of the team players have seen the medical team during the last few weeks. Moreover, there was a time when eight players from the starting line up were benched because of injuries. Thus, lack of form is also a factor responsible
for the deteriorating performance.
Except for a few players, a general lack of commitment has been exhibited by all men. Leonardo has realized that in order to increase the club’s pool of talent, new faces have to be brought in.
As a result, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 is also being targeted from Tottenham Hotspur.
Media reports have revealed Kharja, who has also played for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 on loan, will be arriving in Italy, soon, on loan for Nerazzurri. Moreover, Inter Milan will be presented with an option to buy him by the end of the season.
Kharja will act as a replacement for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sulley-Muntari-c34312, who will be joining Premier League club, Sunderland on this weekend.
On the issue, Kharja’s agent, Beppe Galli told media, “Negotiations are continuing and I hope we can conclude successfully some time today.”
