Genoa’s Rafinha pleased to sign deal with Bayern Munich – Bundesliga news 
Brazilian international, Rafinha, has agreed to pen down a deal with Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich. The deal is expected to be completed by Monday and the defender has shown his delight over his return to Germany. The Brazilian was previously a player at
Schalke 04 before making a move to Genoa in 2010.
Rafinha admitted his inability to adapt to the Italian conditions and therefore was pleased to be back playing in Germany. He confirmed that there were several clubs interested in acquiring his services but he went in favour of the Bavarians. The right-back
told that Genoa officials pressed hard to retain him and were almost ready to present a new contract. certainly would not be a new thing for him.
On the other hand, Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has expressed his disappointment over the exit of the defender. He admitted that the Brazilian’s exit was very unfortunate but added that the player is found it hard and seemed uncomfortable with the Italian
setup.

Rafinha joined the Serie A outfit in 2010 after spending five years with Schalke 04. Following his arrival, the 25-year-old made 33 Serie A appearances, bagging two goals in the process. For the national team, he a single appearance to his name that came
during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
