F= full lip

f= thin lip

Mom- full lip

Ff b/c her dad is a thin lip but her mom is a full lip.

Dad- thin lip.

His dad is a thin lip and his mom is a full lip.

How would i write that?

He would be Ff, but he has thin lips, and the F is the dominant one.

it can't be fF, b/c that's not possible...is it?

please help!

  1. ok, if mom's dad is thin, then he's got to be ff. if mom's mom is full, she can either be Ff or FF (heterozygous, or homozygous dominant). mom is full because she's Ff.

    dad's mom is full so she's either Ff or FF. dad's dad is thin so he has to be ff. dad is thin, so he has to be ff. there's no way he can have an F.
